💡 Tips for IBA Karachi Applicants
- Apply to Multiple Schools Strategically: Undergraduate candidates can apply to all three schools with a single common test. Pay for all schools you are genuinely interested in at the time of application — you cannot switch or add schools later even if you meet the cutoff.
- Prepare for the IBA Aptitude Test: The test is the primary determinant of admission. Focus on English comprehension, Mathematics (for BBA/CS/Eco), Analytical Reasoning, and Essay Writing. Practice with past IBA papers and timed mock tests.
- Round-1 vs Round-2 Strategy: Round-1 has fewer applicants and more available seats — your chances of admission are higher. Round-2 is more competitive. Apply in Round-1 if your profile is ready.
- SAT/ACT Alternative: If you have strong SAT or ACT scores, you may apply through this route. Ensure your scores meet IBA's minimum thresholds and are valid at the time of application.
- BSCS Candidates — No Interview: The BSCS program does not require an interview for either round. Admission is based purely on the aptitude test and academic record.
- Prepare for Interviews (BBA/MBA/MS/PhD): IBA interviews assess communication skills, confidence, general knowledge, and motivation. Practice common interview questions and stay updated on current affairs.
- Keep Documents Scanned and Ready: You will need to upload multiple documents during the online application. Have clear, high-resolution scans of all required certificates, CNIC, and photographs prepared in advance.
- EMBA Applicants — Verify Work Experience: The Executive MBA requires a minimum of 3 years of work experience. Ensure your experience letters are comprehensive and verifiable.
- Don't Miss the Orientation Gala: 22-23 August 2026 — this is a mandatory and valuable introduction to IBA life, networking, and campus culture.
