The Overseas Employment Corporation has announced overseas jobs for Pakistani medical doctors and allied health professionals in the Maldives.
Available roles include Internal Medicine Specialist, Anesthetist, Speech Therapist, Behavioral Therapist, Occupational Therapist and Psychotherapist. Both male and female applicants may apply.

Medical Specialist Requirements
- Qualification: FCPS or MD in the relevant specialty with an MBBS qualification recognized by the Maldives Medical and Dental Council.
- Experience: At least one year of specialist experience after completing FCPS or MD.
- Internship: Completion of a 12-month medical internship is required.
- Registration: Applicants must hold valid professional registration.
- Age: Candidates may be up to 65 years old.
Allied Health Requirements
Speech Therapist
Degree in Speech Therapy, at least two years of experience and maximum age of 50 years.
Behavioral Therapist
Degree in Behavioral Psychology or Applied Behavior Analysis with practicum and two years of experience.
Occupational Therapist
Degree in Occupational Therapy with at least two years of relevant experience.
Psychotherapist
Master’s in Counselling or Psychotherapy with at least seven years of professional experience.
Salary and Benefits
- Medical specialists: MVR 51,540 per month, approximately US$3,350.
- Speech, behavioral and occupational therapists: MVR 29,802 per month, approximately US$1,940.
- Psychotherapists: MVR 41,544 per month, approximately US$2,700.

- Service allowance: Selected professionals will receive a service allowance.
- Employer: Successful candidates will work under the Ministry of Health, Maldives.
